ELF Skip or Steal #3

Hey babes! I bought some more ELF products to put to the test! I’ll tell you if in my opinion you should skip them or if they’re a steal and you should get your hands on them!

I ordered some brow products because I’m always looking for new ways to do my brows!

Lock on  Liner and Brow Cream €6
This is very similar to a pomade but creamier and less pigmented, which makes it less long lasting but very easy to handle! This is a steal for starters but a skip if you’ve already tried things like the Anastasia Dip brow! For a little more money I enjoy the Eyelure version better though.

Eyebrow Treat & Tame €4
I thought I’d like this duo but the clear gel is a little unnecessary because the coloured gel is very liquid already. The coloured gel is very light and seems to have a shimmer but it isn’t noticeable in your eyebrows. Although it’s ok for its price it’s a skip for me because there are better, cheaper options that are more useful.

Instant Lift Brow Pencil €3
I really like this pencil, it’s a little creamier than a regular pencil which makes it easy to brush out but it is sturdy and precise so you can draw a sharp line if you want to. The spoolie is soft which I love! The colour is perfect for me as well but there aren’t that many choices in colour.. Definitely a steal though!

Clean brow & lash mascara €3
I don’t feel like this does anything for my lashes but it’s an okay gel for the eyebrows. I don’t really like the fact that it’s a lash and brow product in one stick so this one is a skip.

Lip Exfoliator Sweet Cherry €5
I didn’t think I would like an exfoliator in lipstick form but I actually love it, it’s steal! It’s very easy to use and it works great! A sugar scrub like the one from lush is more thorough but I love this one for frequent use, especially for its price!

Kiss it goodbye Lip Color Remover €5 
Either this doesn’t work at all or I can’t figure out how to use this correctly. A skip for me!

Lip Primer & Plumper €5
For me this was a skip before I even put it on my lips, the plumper smells very herbal and I can’t stand the scent. Almost like a cinnamon or chai latte. The primer is basically a concealer stick which I don’t like either..

Lip Exfoliator €5
It’s the same as the Sweet & Cherry exfoliator but without a noticeable flavor, definitely a steal as well!

Moisturizing Lipstick Ravishing Rose €5
Moisturizing Lipstick Bordeaux Beauty €5

These lipsticks apply like a dream, they are creamy but still very pigmented. They are similar to Essence or Rimmel lipsticks in pigment but apply a lot like a lip balm, very smoothly. They’re a steal! They last for a few hours and they can bleed a tiny little bit. They aren’t matte so they transfer but they aren’t glossy at all! Great for everyday wear.

Berry Blush Lip Stain €2,5
This was a lot more pigmented than I expected. It applies very easily and smooth and it really is a lip stain, it fades a little but it leaves a stain, it does transfer a little but it isn’t creamy. Definitely a steal! I love the  colour as well!

Small makeup Holder €6
I love love love this holder! It’s so sleek and beautiful and looks great on my vanity! Definitely a steal!

Eyeshadow Brush, Smudge Brush, Blending Eye Brush, Defining Eye Brush €1,5 each 
All of these brushes are steals for me! They are so cheap and pretty good. They are quite small which for the smudge brush is great, because you have more precision. But the blending brushes could be bigger. But these are definitely great to have as backups or to start with.

Ultimate Blending Brush €8
For me this is a skip because this brush is quite stiff and dense and it moves the product around more than it blends. It can be used for blush or foundation maybe but for this price there are other brushes that I like better!

Retractable Lip Brush €4
This is super nifty, you put the cap on the end of the brush and the bristles appear, this way your brush is always covered. It’s very lightweight and the brush itself is sturdy and not too big. Considering the price this is a steal!

Ultimate Kabuki Brush €14
This brush is huge and very soft and fluffy so I’m finding it difficult to actually get any product on the brush and then on to my face. I can’t seem to figure out how to work with this so it’s a skip for me.
