βHey babes! I went to Breda last weekend and wanted to share some cool places to visit and also what I bought of course!
We stayed at Fletcher Hotel Trivium in Etten Leur which is nearby by car, we found a deal on Travelbird which made it very cheap, it was a great hotel but the wellness wasn’t as great as expected sadly! We did love the free parking, breakfast & wifi though!
For our first lunch we went to Dickens & Jones which is a lovely bistro near the church and Grote Markt, I had a seafood salad which was amazing! Yaiza had the Dickens Burger which looked great as well.
The service here is great, it’s great everywhere in Breda to be honest! They also have a super cosy wooden terrace with blankets and heaters!
We had a coffee at Bagels & Beans which is a super neat, hippie place that has gluten free and vegan options which I always love! They have a whole philosophy surrounding their establishment which is actually pretty cool.
We walked around and quickly came across the shopping mail Barones which is quite a small shopping mall but it has some great stores, a big H&M that still had sales going on and a big Etos, where I have never been to before, and they had some great deals going on as well! We left with a huge bag!
Here’s what I bought at H&M and Etos:
The next day we had lunch at Tortillas which is a cute Mexican place near Dickens & Jones, the decoration and music is Mexican as well which makes it feel quite authentic! I didn’t get a good picture here because the lighting is very dim inside, but it was cosy because of that!
After visiting a few other stores and finding some great sales at Zara (we literally spent hours trying on clothes) we left with full bags and had coffee at Koffie bij Teun which is a super cute and tiny coffee place near Barones. Everyone working there is so sweet and happy, I recommend the iced coffee by the way!
Here are the items I picked out from Zara:
I also managed to pick up these amazing pink New Balance sneakers at ‘Sneakers’ for only 90 euros! Breda has so many great sneaker stores, it’s definitely a good place to visit if you’re a sneaker freak like me. I also tried on some Silver Adidas Superstars but I ended up ordering the rose golden ones from Zalando when I got home.
On our last night we had dinner at Sumo, it’s an all you can eat sushi and grill restaurant with an amazing interior. It’s huge and it has stairs like harry potter and so many decorations, it’s very badly lit as well which again makes it cosy to eat! Lunch is cheaper there but we still had a lot of food for a reasonable amount of money.
I also quickly want to mention the BodyMx Piercing Shop, I went in for some information and they really helped me out, they have a great selection of jewellery as well!
I love sharing my trips with you, next time I need to take more pictures though, I always forget when I’m enjoying the moment!
What’s the last citytrip you did?
Thanks for reading!
xoxo Christine
