Hey babes! I’ve been really sticking to my healthy lifestyle, even though I have my ups and downs, I’m still feeling motivated, thanks to a lot of different apps, books, websites,.. and today I wanted to share some of my favorite, health boosting apps with you! Hopefully these can help you too!
The first one I’d like to talk about is Freaky Alarm, it’s an alarm clock that brutally awakes you in the morning with crazy sounds and math questions or games! It’s harsh but if you’re like me and you struggle getting out of bed in the morning and maintaining a good sleeping pattern, this will really help you out. When you’re trying to get yourself into a healthy sleeping pattern, this will get you through the first couple of weeks where getting up feels like the most difficult thing ever. There’s different levels so you can switch it up if you feel like getting up is getting easier!
PumpUp is a social media platform comparable to Instagram, but it has many other features like tracking and workout programs. I love this for posting quick, honest and spontaneous photos of my workout, food or other fun things related to health and fitness. The community is very active and it’s great to scroll through so many pictures of people living healthy lives!
I love smoothies but sometimes I need some inspiration and Daily Smoothie is a great app for that, it’s quicker than googling something and the design is very clean. The recipes are great as well, you get some easy recipes as well as some very surprising ones with fun ingredients that I would never think of. You get a simple step by step explanation as well as nutritional info!
I’ve recently started researching meditation to help me with anxiety and sleeping and Headspace was an app I came across when I was looking for a meditation for dummies kind of app. You can follow a simple program that explains how meditation works and some exercises you can try. You also have other programs that you have to pay for which I haven’t tried but it’s a great starter app.
I’ve tried many yoga apps but TrackYoga is unique in my opinion because you can earn points by doing yoga videos and buy new programs with those points, if you want to buy other programs immediately you can get the membership plan, that also includes coaching. The videos are easy to follow and the voice is very clear and relaxing. The videos are very calming and the poses are great if you want to learn the basics of yoga!
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these apps and if you liked them in the comments!
Thanks for reading!
xoxo Christine
Dit kan ik nu echt wel goed gebruiken! Ik ga er zeker een aantal proberen.
Omg die wekker app zou verboden moeten worden 😀 ik blijf altijd nog n half uur na mijn wekker liggen 😀
