Hey babes! It’s been a while after posting my spring favorites post, we’re well into August right now so it’s time for my summer favorites! Let’s get right into it.

The first favorite is this Colourpop eyeshadow in the colour ‘Amaze‘ (swatched here), I love using a muted colour in my crease and using something like this all over my lid, as an easy eye look.

My next favorite is this lipstick, Grand Rouge by Yves Rocher in the colour Corail Voilé. I’ve been a little hesitant to use light pink and coral lipsticks before, but now that I’m a little tan, I think they suit me better.

If I don’t wear lipstick, I love applying a little nude lipgloss like this Hoola one from Benefit, it’s great to keep in your purse and apply during the day. I love a glossy lip much more than a matte one!

I recently got this Essence Satin Touch Blush in the colour Satin Coral, when killing some time after work, it looked pretty cute so I bought it and it ended up being such a beautiful, subtle colour that really builds up well. I think this colour can be beautiful on every skin colour.

I got my hair permanently coloured a while back and I’ve rediscovered this Schwarzkopf Dream Hair oil. I’ve spent some time swimming and being outdoors as well so my hair deserved some tlc, this oil is really lightweight and makes my hair super soft.

I’ve reviewed this Zoeva Cocoa Blend eyeshadow palette before, but since shooting the pictures I’ve used it a lot. I love the colours Sweeter End and Substitute For Love as crease colours and the darkers ones are great for creating subtle depth. They blend like a dream as well, which makes it easy to use every day!

I’ve been waiting for this Butter Bronzer by Physicians Formula to come to Belgium for ages and I saw it on Boozyshop and immediately bought it! It smells like summer and it’s such a pretty, soft colour, not orange at all. It’s also easy to blend so it’s great to use in a natural look.

To finish up any summer, natural makeup look, I love using a cream highlight like this Strobe Cream for MAC, sometimes I also blend it in with my foundation sometimes.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my summer favorites, what are some of yours? Tell me in the comments!

Thanks for reading!
xoxo Christine

  1. My Summer favourite is Elbow Grease from Lush, since I know have a fresh tattoo, it's really the BEST product to use. It smells sooooo nice and the smell really stays for a long time. My tattoo healed a lot faster when you compare it to other tattoo products. I've recommended it to so many people!
