Hey babes! In my UK Cruelty Free Haul, I showed you this Clarifying Toner by Dr. Hauschka. Since then I’ve been able to test it out and I’m ready to share my thoughts with you!
As I said before, Dr. Hauschka is a cruelty free brand, it also has the reputation of being a great brand for people with stubborn skin issues such as acne, dry skin, .. I struggled with acne for a very long time but after getting PH Formula peeling treatments and figuring my health and diet issues out, it’s been much better. I have had some impurities around my chin and forehead though, and I wanted a clearer skin all over.
This toner caught my eye because it’s a spray bottle and it can be used in the morning or at night, I wanted something I could use whenever I want. It’s also a glass bottle, so it produces less plastic waste! I also loved the idea of a spray on toner because usually a toner uses cotton pads, and I’ve been doing a pretty good job cutting down on my use of them.
This toner is supposed to tone, balance and calm oily skin which is exactly what I needed. Whenever I use this, my skin feels great the next day, my pores are a little tighter and my blemishes have actually calmed down a bit as well. It isn’t a strong product so the results aren’t huge at first, but I recommend using it daily for the best results. I also love using it in the morning after a shower because it helps tone down any redness or blemishes that grow bigger during the day.
I’m definitely planning to use this toner regularly in the future, I absolutely love the fact that my skin feels cleaner and tighter and that it’s cruelty free. It’s super easy to use and it doesn’t give me any unwanted irritation or acne at all, which some toners have done in the past! I would love to try out more of these products but for now I’m happy with my skincare routine!
