I’ve been wanting to buy an incense burner forever but never got around to it because I always had candles and it didn’t really seem like a necessary purchase. But I decided to put it on my birthday wish list this year and my friend Elise got me a beautiful incense burner and my two first scents of incense! Since then I bought some other scents at a stall during Asia In Antwerp and some other ones in a store in Canterbury. I thought it would be fun to share my setup and collection with you all!
The incense holder is a basic model in wood with a little cute elephant detail and stars.
The scents I most enjoy are floral scents and warm scents such as ylang ylang or patchouli. I also got some blends that are named after the effect they have like the ‘energising’ incense sticks.
The ones I got from my friend are really fresh scents that are great to make the entire living room smell nice. Don’t forget to air out any room where you burn incense by the way!
I used to be obsessed with scented candles, but before that, whenever I went to my friend's house, her mother would burn incense and it smelled soooooo nice! Now I barely use scented candles anymore, I still have them to put them in the bathroom once in a while.
