I’m currently in Copenhagen for a week long citytrip, and I wanted to be more zero waste than I usually am on short trips, so I decided to make some sustainable choices while packing my carry on bag!

I still have so many changes I could make, but I’m happy with the things I’ve done so far. Hopefully I’ll inspire someone to bring these items on their next trip! The first item I’m bringing is a reusable shopping bag, I have one  that collapses into a small pocket which is great to put in your handbag during the day!

Next up is a Snack’n Go bag, which I’ve filled with homemade muffins for the plane and an empty Tupperware to use when I want to buy a snack somewhere.

Of course I’m also bringing along an empty water bottle!

I use this at home as well, so I’m bringing my bamboo toothbrush with me.

I’ve managed to find solid shampoo, conditioner and soap bars to bring along with me. This is great for anyone travelling with a carry on bag only because these don’t count as liquids!

And lastly, my newest purchase is this Loveli solid Deodorant stick. This is refillable as well, you just have to buy the stick which is packaged in cardboard and put it in the plastic casing!

Hope you enjoyed these little zero waste travel tips, and hopefully next time I’ll be able to share even more tips with you! I also posted a video about my sustainable travel tips.

Check it out for some more information!

Thanks for reading!
Love, Christine

  1. Love it ! Can you name your solid shampoo, conditioner and soap bars again? Would like to consider buying them too 😉 and is that deodorant from Belgium or Copenhague? <3

  2. Hi sorry for the late reply! My conditioner is Helemaal She (purchased from Kudzu.be), my solid shampoo is also from Kudzu.be and it's from Lamazuna, the soap bar I don't remember, I think it was gifted to me but there's many online and I bought some at markets too! The deodorant was purchased at HOST here in Belgium 😀
